The Dance Company
SBDC is a registered non-profit organization that uses dance as a powerful tool to raise awareness and funds for a variety of charitable organizations.
The dance company members at SBDC are volunteers that donate their time and performances so that charities can benefit in both promoting their cause and raising well needed funds. Members also contribute to the company's organization in a variety of ways - translation, teaching, choreography, fund raising, grant opportunities, etc.
SBDC members undergo vigorous training in classical ballet, contemporary jazz and gymnastics in order to meet the demands of SBDC's athletic approach to dance.
Company members are selected to join SBDC by invitation. Members are selected based on dance experience, level of commitment and work ethic. Candidates are expected to believe in SBDC's mission and commitment to the community. They must have a willingness to donate time, energy and share in the company's responsibilities in order to meet SBDC's objectives.
